Childsmile is a national programme that aims to improve the oral health of children.

 

Your health visitor will ask you if you wish to join Childsmile when she invites you and your newborn baby.

 

If you decide to join Childsmile you will be visited by a dental health support worker. They will explain Childsmile and what services it offers.

 

The dental health support worker will give you a list of local practices that you can attend and our practice are more than happy to accept Childsmile patients.

 

You would normally attend for the first time when baby is three months old, then at six months old, and then every six months.
